Musick Studios is bringing 4 nationally known dancers/choreographers for a DAY OF DANCE!

Hip Hop: Monyett Crump

Option 1: $125.00. Includes all (4) Classes Pick your own level (Beginner/Intermediate) (Advanced) (must keep the same level for all 4 classes) FREE T-SHIRT if pre-registered by June 26th
Option 2: $70.00. Includes your choice of (2) Classes (Any Time/Any Level) (Please see schedule for details when choosing classes)
School/Studio Dance Teams: Register 10 or more dancers and pay $100.00 per dancer for all 4 classes.
This years event will be hosted at Musick Studios. Due to capacity restrictions, no spectators will be allowed in classes. Spectators are welcome to view from designated viewing areas only. During classes parents are welcome to visit Owensboro’s downtown riverwalk, boutiques and local restaurants, all within walking distance. Musick Studio All-Stars will serve lunch available for purchase during the lunch break.

- All cell phones must be off. Any calls must be taken outside of classroom.
- No photos or videos during classes. 15 minutes of photography with Instructors at end of each class.
- All choreography is proprietary to Instructors & Musick Studios, Inc. No sharing of Choreography or videos of choreography with others!

Kevin Nguyen: Kevin Nguyen was born in Iowa and raised in Chicago, where his interest in dance and entertainment started. He started his dance career when he moved to California and joined Chaparral High School’s all male dance team, Agi-lity. Kevin trained heavily with the Temecula Dance Company and Formality. He started getting serious with choreographing during his time on Formality, and was privileged to travel and teach. Recently, Kevin filmed a music video with JIVE Records artist Jawan Harris. He’s an alumni of Super Galactic Beat Manipulators and is currently dancing with Frenemies. He teaches classes at Artistic Dance Academy and StudioFX. He believes that there is always something new to discover in the world of dance, and that one must never stop growing. Kevin hopes to continue working in the industry, while also traveling the world to teach and inspire dancers everywhere

Joey Hernandez: is the artistic director of Resilience Dance Company (Rockford, IL) a pre-professional mentor-ship program. He is a first generation college graduate receiving his B.A. in Dance and Health& Society from Beloit College where he has been privileged to return as a visiting instructor for the Dance Department and Upward Bound Program. Currently Joey can be found as the associate lecturer of Hip-Hop at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to his position with U-W Milwaukee he was on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex Chicago. In his career, he has studied under the direction of Chris Johnson, Robert Lewis, (Xtreme Dance Force, America’s Best Dance Crew), Cedric Gardner (So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up 3-D), and many others.On Scholarship he has studied with Inaside Chicago Dance, Urban Jamm Dance Convention and Dupree Dance Tour. Performance credits include: Carnival Los Angeles, The Millennium Experience, The Miss Illinois Pageant, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, and many more. Joey has had the privilege to set pieces for: Chicago’s Choreographers Carnival, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, SueMo: A Dance Experience, Madison Contemporary Vision, and Beloit College’s Repertory Dance. Joey has contributed guest classes at the Athletic Garage (Pasadena, CA) and award winning choreography for many dance studios and high school dance teams across the United States. In addition, to being a featured instructor for Dance Masters of Wisconsin. Joey has the great fortune to be a judge for Applause Talent, Shake the Ground and StarQuest Dance. In his most recent venture Joey has started an open in studio workshop series titled “Dance-4-Change”, to promote advocacy, awareness, and raise donations in support of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of America. Monyett Crump: first discovered his love for dance at the age of 15 after being inspired by dance icons such as Michael Jackson and the Jabbawockeez. Since then, he has trained in Hip Hop with some of the finest instructors and professional dance studios all over the country. Monyett has had the honor of working with artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Ciara, Chance the Rapper, DLOW, Ian Eastwood and ImmaBeast, a world-renowned urban movement company. He continues to share his passion for dance around the world and hopes to promote hard work and commitment to aspiring dancers.
